We used to get two options: Summarized data and underlying data. Now we have three options
Data with current layout
Summarized Data
Underlying data
The default is Data with current layout but none of our users understands what that means. We want to make summarized data the default with the active radio button. Is there some way to do that?
the options under settings changes which radio buttons can be active but not what the active default will be
the only option that blocks the data with current layout is None that blocks all exports.

If it is in preview is there a place on the service where I can turn it off?
Hi, @bsheffer
Sorry, no such option is provided in the report settings on either Desktop or Service.
At present, if the export of summary data is enabled, the export of the current layout data will be enabled by default, which is a bit similar to that when the export of the underlying data is enabled, the export of summary data will be enabled by default.

Hi @v-easonf-msft ,
This option is somehow changing order of fields and also including fields used in conditional formatting. Since this is default option, it's confusing to users. Is there any way to provide option to default to "Summarize data" view for Tables and May be Matrix export can be defaulted to new view. Thanks!
Hi, @abpgupta
Currently, this feature is still in preview, and I am not familiar with it either.
For more details about the preview feature, it is recommended to open a support ticket to consult the Microsoft Team. https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/support/pro/
