Export CSV Paginated Report Without Column Headers

Hello

Looking for some help if possible. We need to create a CSV extract from a paginated report without any column headers (so just the raw data basically).

I have created a paginated report with no headers - just the detail columns as below.

However when I put this on the Power BI service and try to export as a CSV it gives me the column headers as a first row. Any idea how I get rid of them?

Hi @LukeB

You seem to want the CSV file to have only data in it, no column headings.

In Power BI Paging Reports, when exporting data to a CSV file, include column headings as part of the export.

Unfortunately this is the default behavior to ensure that the structure of the exported data is clear and understandable when opened in applications such as Microsoft Excel or other data processing tools.

Currently, Power BI does not provide a direct option in Power BI Services or Report Builder to exclude column headers when exporting a paged report to CSV.

The export process reflects the structure of the report as much as possible, which includes the inclusion of column headings to maintain clarity and data integrity.

I also need an export without the column header.  This data is loaded into another system and the column header row is causing us to manually open the file each time and delete this row.  😞
