Lakehouse on Capacity in Fabric. When I query the data from the auto-generated SQL Analytics endpoint, I can see data, tables, etc. If I attempt to "Expore Data" from the auto-generated Semantic model, It never loads. I've waited up to 30 minutes and it never loads anything in the data pane.
Additionally, If I attempt to connect to either from Power BI Desktop, It says "working on it" for 10 seconds or so and then never shows any of the tables in the data pane. It is as if there is no data.
The Lakehouse is populated via a Dataflow pulling data from MySQL.
Any ideas as to what is going on?
Hi,
Try to pull data from your lake house with dataflow and see.If it works then you can copy the power query and you can use it pbi desktop power bi report to pull the data.
I hope it will help you.
Thanks,
Sai Teja
I'm not sure I understand you. I'm loading data from MySQL into a lakehouse already, using a dataflow. That part works. After that happens if I look at the lakehouse from the auto-generated SQL Analytics endpoint, I can see data. If I look at it from the auto-generated Semantic model, I cannot explore the data. I think this is also why I can't see data in Power BI desktop when I connect to the Lakhouse but I'm not certain of that.
Hi @cduden ,
You need to configure the data source credentials for the semantic model.
Hope it helps!
