Expert opinion on Incremental refresh choice

Yes, as long as you remember there will be no performance benefit from incremental refresh. Your only benefit will be the unlimited size ( well, 10 GB per partition) and the partition management .
I dont think theres anything like a "deadline" anyways right?"I love deadlines. I love the whooshing sound they make when they pass by." DNA
Place the files in a Fabric and access them via Direct Lake connection.
Note: while technically being an option this will incur additional cost.
🤣 Sorry that I keep messing up. I only mentioned PowerBI tools as they are they only things I have at hand. I do not have access to a Fabric capacity yet (this is a corporate company decision and unbelievably they didnt go with it yet).
I know using only PowerBI tools is totally suboptimal but its what I have sadly, is there no way to even attempt this?
Thanks!

Connect your Semantic Model to the Azure Blob Storage directly. (Caveat must be in the same region)
Azure Blob Storage - Power Query | Microsoft Learn
I hope you are aware that your Power BI Premium days are counting down, and you have to migrate to Fabric if you want it or not.

So I incrementally refresh the semantic model as you did here correct?
Any quick tips as to why chose this option over the other? Just to educate myself a little more on the ecosystem 🙂
I only wish the migration was sooner, would make my life easier in literally every aspect. I dont think theres anything like a "deadline" anyways right?
Many thanks lbendlin !
