Excel linked to DataSet through PowerBI - Unable to Refresh
Good evening,
We have multiple excel files linked to our PowerBI dataset (which is connected to Microsoft Dynamics BC) and they recently stopped refreshing. We receive the below error messages after "Refreshing OLAP Cubes" fails:
"Either a connection cannot be made to the wabu-us-north-central-b-redirect.analysis.windows.net server, or Analysis Services is running on the computer specified"
"Excel was unable to get necessary information about this cube. The cube might have been reorganized or changed on the server. Contact the OLAP cube administrator and, if necessary, set up a new data source to connect to the cube."
I did create a new data source (Excel) linked to the dataset that worked initially, but after saving/closing the file, and then coming back in later, it experienced the same issue. Not sure what is the next step I should take but would appreciate any suggestions. Just as an FYI I'm more of an accountant than an IT resource so my technical knowledge on this is limited.
Thanks,
Brian M

Thanks Charlotte, unfortunately none of the suggestions on those links have solved the issue. What would be your recommendation for solving this issue, should we create a PowerBI support ticket?
