Excel converts number into string when connecting to PowerBi dataset

Hello,

I have a dataset in power bi where "preclong-x" and "preclat-y" are defined as numbers (I checked in power query within power bi). When I connect to the power bi dataset from excel, the number is changed into a string. I need for it to remain a number. Is there a way to do this?

I have not been able to reproduce your question. Whether you can change the data format to Number where shown in the figure.
