Responsive ResidentExcel: Connect to Data in Power BI Help
Hi
I have several excel files conneted to Power BI datasets in 'My Workspace' workspace. Management has requested I move all my datasets and reports to a new workspace. I am in the process of doing so currently.
In excel, I use 'Connect to Data Power BI' but now I do not see my new workspace. Do I have to activiate or grant some permissions for my new workspace? I already have Admin status.

IamTDRI think my issue is that the reports all have the same name. Under closer inspection of the 'My Workspace' workspace, I see duplicates of all my reports.
I was trying to migrate all my reports from 'My Workspace' into a new shared workspace. So I downloaded all my reports and re-uploaded them to a new workspace.

I'd like to suggest you use shared datasets and copy reports features to use datasets and reports based on them from original workspace in a new workspace.
Building reports based on datasets in different workspaces, and copying reports to different workspaces, are tightly coupled with the new workspace experience: In the service, when you open the dataset catalog from a new workspace experience, the dataset catalog shows datasets that are in your My Workspace and in other new workspace experience workspaces.
When you find a report you like, in a workspace or an app, you can make a copy of it, and then modify it to fit your needs.

Since did not serve my need. The company I work for would like to have all my reports under a shared workspace in case I were to eventually leave my current employer so the reports would not be tied to my account.
