Hi community.
Im having problems when i try to create a new connection on Power BI portal with admin rights.
Im trying configure a sql server connection but when i try to create, the following error is:
On the on premise gateway I have full connectivity, the agent is already updated, everithing is seems ok but The new connections are not working.
I'm desperate, does anyone have any ideas?
Thx in advanced 🙂
Hi @Ivanrc98
If you can, please confirm if we have any log on triggers on your SQL Server source. If you do, that is why you're getting the error and the only way I found to overcome that is to use an ODBC data source on your gateway.
Hi Gilbert,
Thanks in advance, but we don't have any records in triggers in this DB. Another thing when I try to configure this connection in the portal is that an error appears instantly, it seems that it does not cross the on-premise data gateway.
