Error using Tabular editor in Fabric Lakehouse Semantic Model

Hi. This is not a bug, it's a known issue or limitation described here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/enterprise/directlake-overview#known-issues-and-limitations

 

  • Direct Lake models created or modified by using XMLA-based tools cannot be opened in the Web modelling feature.

Once you are using xmla with Tabular Editor, then you should keep using that. If you have Tabular Editor 3 you might be able to do everything you need in there. With 2 version I'm not sure.
