Error updating from an Access file in Sharepoint

Hola expertos, espero está publicando este tema en el lugar correcto y que no haya problema con el idioma.

Tengo un problema de actualización de un informe con una conexión a un origen de datos en Access ubicado en una carpeta Sharepoint, pero unicamente en Power Bi Service, no en Power BI Desktop.

El proyecto utliza como origen de datos varias bases de Access que están ubicadas en una carpeta de Sharepoint, la vinculación funciona, al tener el mismo formato, Power BI las unifica y el cuadro de mando está listo y funcionando en Power BI Desktop, se actualiza con normalidad usando los ficheros ubicados en la carpeta de Sharepoint.

He publicado el informe, pero desde powerbi.com me es imposible actualizar el informe, aparece el siguiente error "DataSource.NotFound: Microsoft Access: The 'Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0' provider is not registered on the local machine. The 64-bit version of the Access Database Engine OLEDB provider may be required to read this type of file. To download the client software, visit the following site: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=285987.. Microsoft.Data.Mashup.ErrorCode = 10478. . The exception was raised by the IDbCommand interface. Table: PBI_AGRUPACION.".

La conexión con la carpeta de Sharepoint es correcta desde powerbi.com. He probado con bases en Access en formato .mdb y .accdb, pero sigue dando error.

¿Que podria estar pasando? ¿Power BI Service no tiene el motor de Access instalado en sus servidores?

Thanks for the follow-up and for clarifying that you're using SharePoint without a gateway.

Unfortunately, Power BI Service does not support refreshing Microsoft Access files stored in SharePoint Online, because it relies on the Microsoft Access Database Engine (OLEDB driver), which is not available in the Power BI cloud environment.

Your Power BI Desktop works fine because the driver is installed locally, but Power BI Service cannot use that same engine.

To move forward, you could.

• Convert the Access data into Excel or CSV files and store them in SharePoint (these formats are fully supported).
• Or, migrate the Access database to a more cloud-friendly source like Azure SQL or Dataverse.

Let me know if you need help with the conversion or alternatives! You’re not alone this limitation has affected many trying to use Access in the cloud with Power BI.

Muchas gracias por tu ayuda y la información que me aportas. Una pena que la situación sea esa, tendré que pensar alternativas.

La situación es que el proyecto está destinado a alojarse por completo en el tenant de mi cliente, donde mi unica intervención iba a ser aportar información para actualizarlo de forma cumulativa, y la información solo la puedo aportar vía Sharepoint. Además, la información está estructurada en tres tablas, lo que hace que si se lo tengo que aportar en formato Excel/csv, tenga que haber más carga de trabajo por mi parte, un fichero Access era ideal.

I have had this problem before too. 

You have to add the Access bits to the gateway server.

Muchas gracias por tu respuesta, pero creo que no puedo aplicar tu solución.

No puedo instalar nada en la puerta de enlace porque el origen de datos está en la nube, está en Sharepoint.
