Error sharing a report using power bi premium

Hey there,

I have a user trying to share a report they built and I am stuck.

We have PBI Premium and the user has a Pro license.

I have created a workspace that has the premium server on it. This works for every other report being shared in the company.

So I am able to open the report I believe because I have a Pro license.  Other people get an error.

That error says:

Also one user got this error:

22a8e2ec-d611-4d22-b620-a1ab7ba21bbd.jpg

I checked and I do not see an dataset for this report in PowerBI.  It was a simple report using a CSV as the dataset.

I tried adding a user to thr workspace and that didn't work either.

What are your thoughts?

Thanks

Every report has a dataset. No reports are based on CSV files. The dataset can ingest a CSV file via Power Query, but the report is always based on a dataset. You need to find out where that dataset is. It might be in a Pro workspace, not Premium, so those without a Pro license will not be able to see it. You will need to move the dataset to the Premium workspace for that to work.

DAX is for Analysis. Power Query is for Data Modeling
