Error on scheduled data update

Hi everyone!

I am having issues with the scheduled update, as it applies correctly the first time, but then it shows an error. I have a scheduled update set for different times daily.

Within my semantic model, I extract information from an Excel table stored in OneDrive and also from a website that shows the exchange rate from Mexican pesos to dollars. This information is updated on the website, as it adds the date of each passing day along with its exchange rate. I would like this to update daily, but as I mentioned, the first update is successful, but the subsequent ones fail, and I get the following error:

I suspect that the problem originates from the data being extracted from the website, as in other semantic models the update works perfectly with the data from the Excel table in OneDrive

How could I solve this issue?

Hi @Anette_Munoz ,

WHen you say the first time, do you mean when you upload it?  the error message is stating that your gateway is offline.  Do you have a personal gateway setup to use this data source?  If so, you must leave it on all the time.  This is a great reason to use an Enterprise gateway - those are usually setup to stay on (they are on a server most commonly).

If you use a personal gateway (not sure why you would need that?)  then it must be running during the attempted refresh.
