I'm experiencing issues with the refresh of our datasets.
I tried multiple things to get it fixed but none of them works, updated NPGSQL, WINMTR to the database, updated the gateway to latest versions. This issue with the database only happens with PowerBI our external process never have this error.

According to your description, when you refresh your dataset , it may return the "DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_TimeoutError" error code .
For this issue , you can check this:
(1)Whether the latest version of the data gateway is installed.
(2)Is your dataset in a shared capacity or a premium capacity? If the maximum refresh limit is 2 hours for shared capacity, 5 hours for Premium capacity. If you want to refresh successfully on Power BI Service, you need to control the amount of your data.
(3)If you face the "command timeout error" , you can refer to this case:

(4)Check whether the gateway computer has sufficient memory and CPU resources when you refresh it.Try to reduce the amount of data for refreshes to test whether too much data is causing too much resource consumption, resulting in timeouts.
