Hello,
For last couple of weeks, I have been getting an error in Power BI service when I try to use the Test as Role
Dataset-->Security-->Row Level Security-->Test as Role . When I try to use an email id, I keep getting the below error.
The RLS seems to work in the Desktop and is functioning as expected but I need to be able to have the test as role as well.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I just tried again now and the test as role is working now. I think maybe something on our end. Thanks all.

When you enter email, does it automatically jump out of the optional email address?
If not, are there any users in the organization?

Even as I start typing an email id, it starts to error out. Once I type it, i get the error message that I copied above. It used to work some time back but stopped for about a month now. Yes we have users in the organization.

Can you confirm you have got the latest Power BI Desktop version installed?
Also without putting in a user does the RLS work as expected?
If it works as expected I would test it with an alternative account to make sure.

Yes, it works as expected but not working when testing. Desktop version is Version: 2.100.684.0 64-bit (December, 2021)
