Error in publishing

I want to update my power bi report in the service but it fails. I downloaded a copy of my power bi report from the service, and made adjustment to the data source, and visuals, but when I publish it to the service with same name to replace the older version of my report it fails and gives me the following error.

 

"A dataset or report named XXX already exists and is set up for cloud refresh. You can save this file with a different name and publish again."

 

I don't want to publish it with different name, because stakeholders lose access and I should reach out to every one. Appreciate you support in advance. Thank you.

Hi @Sayedrohullah ,

 

Depending on the information you provide, if you don't want to publish it under a different name and thus cause stakeholders to lose access. You can remove the related resources from the workspace. Republish the locally modified pbix to service.
Or you can refer to a similar scenario as below:
