Thanks for the error message.
Can you please clarify few details.
1. what is the connector you are using? (Ex:- Web)
2. Connectivity Mode ? (Ex:- Import)
3. Authentication Mode ? (Ex:- Organizational Account)
4. Privacy Level (Ex:- Basic, Private, Public)
5. Excel file extension (.xls/.xlsx)
Have you tried to download the excel file into local machine and tried to re-pro the issue.

I am using the One Drive Business account for this, i dont get any of these options while using the Power BI Service through the browser, what you are asking is options when we use the files from the Power BI Desktop App.
- AnonymousNot applicableIf I use the local file option it works but then the sync is dependent on my laptop which I dont want , I want the system to auto refresh the data from one drive business location since it’s a shared file with other users
