    Hi BiancaCiui

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Fabric Forum Community.

djurecic SaiTejaTalasila Thanks for the inputs.

I hope the information provided by users was helpful, Additionally, I have a few points to add. Please take a look.

Power BI has basically forgotten that your Databricks connection supports DirectQuery, even though the preview in Power Query still loads fine. You just need to reset the connection properly. make sure you’re using Azure Databricks -> Databricks SQL (not the Spark connector), go to Data Source Settings and clear the existing permissions, then close and reopen Power BI and sign in again with your Azure AD account and SQL Warehouse details. Double check that the tables are still set to DirectQuery mode, and if the report is in the Service, update the gateway and re enter the credentials there too.

If there are any deviations from your expectation please let us know we are happy to address.

    Thanks.
