Error during BI cloud refresh with access as linked source

My two linked sources from onedrive  (excel and access 64bit) works fine in the Power BI destkop. Even refresh is ok.

But there is problem with refresh in BI cloud

If I have BI just with one source = excel64 which is saved in my onedrive  (onedrive and BIcloud have same account=email), refresh works fine. Gateway is not needed, I just need set up web credentials.

Web credentialas are same, both sources are organizational privacy levels (in destkop and also in web credentials settings in the cloud).

Error is about 64bit oledb connector.. but I am sure I have office 64bit.  I have access 64bit and I created test access db source in that 64bit access. I have PBI Desktop 64bit. So I really dont understand why it gives me such a error.  And there is not need some connector if refresh is made in cloud, it has nothing related with my computer, or I am wrong. Gateway is not needed.

I got now one answer... Microsoft is not supporting accdb, only xlsx and csv format.

But Excel can have just 1 million rows and we need tens millions rows, that is why we use access as a source for powerBI. So what can we do now?

Can we maybe user some azure webconnector? Is there some quide how to do it?

Hi @ludovith ,

I think you could try Azure SQL Database. You could also post your ideas here, maybe Power BI will support accdb file in the future.
