Error adding MYSQL dataset to Gateway
Hi
I am trying to add a MYSQL dataset to my gateway and I am getting the following error :
I installed MYSQL Connector from this location https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/net/ on the location of the gateway and am able to access the dataset from power bi desktop.
Anyone know why this is causing issues or what I can check ?

Based on your error message, I think this should be related to the compatibility of power Bi and AWS data sources.
Try to update the connector, desktop and gateway to the latest version and republish the report.
If the report you created using MySQL works well on the power bi desktop,it is suggested you create a support ticket for further help.
