Hello there,
i just started 2 months ago with Power BI, so Sorry in advance for "Beginner" Question.
I ve set up a Dataflow with a Excel File in a OneDrive Folder. This should update every morning.
Problem is: If I put updated Excel file in this OneDrive Folder, I receive this Error Message next morning:
Error: The column 'xxx' of the table wasn't found.
If I then open this Excel file in OneDrive and close it and update the Dataflow manually, it works.
Any idea on this?
Thanks in advance

Hi @fschilling ,
It might be related to the credentials to access the data source.
Have a try.
Clear the cache - went to "data source settings" and cleared all permissions - then recaptured them.
I have also found a helpful blog, please refer to it to see if it helps you.

Hi and thanks for your answers.
Could not figure out the reason.
If put the file on One Drive and do not open it, the Data flow will not work.
If I open the Excel file before and close it again, it works.
This is the error message:
2022-11-04 14:35:11,EchteBestellmengen,Fehler,EchteBestellmengen,NV,Fehler,2022-11-04 14:35:11,2022-11-04 14:35:42,00:00:31.0700,NV,NV,NV,NV,NV,NV,Error: Expression.Error: The column 'BELEGNUMMER' of the table wasn't found. But the column "BELEGNUMMER" is in the table.
Hi @fschilling ,
Does it make sense? If so, kindly mark my answer as the solution to close the case please. Thanks in advance.
