Error Refreshing Dataset from Sharepoint

Hi there,

I've created some Excel Files and stored them on Sharepoint. After integrating them into my Reports I ve tried to actualize the datasets in PowerBI online. Then I get the following error code:

  • Fehler bei der Datenquelle{"error":{"code":"ModelRefresh_ShortMessage_ProcessingError","pbi.error":{"code":"ModelRefresh_ShortMessage_ProcessingError","parameters":{},"details":[{"code":"Message","detail":{"type":1,"value":"File contains corrupted data."}}],"exceptionCulprit":1}}} Table: Overview.
  • Cluster-URIWABI-WEST-EUROPE-redirect.analysis.windows.net
  • Aktivitäts-ID4158e613-ecb8-42d8-b086-248afdac19d3
  • Anforderungs-ID3ec01790-d58a-612c-7de1-ca70c3496a2b
  • Zeit2020-04-08 07:19:51Z

I investigated a little and may found a reason in the way I get access to the data. Access options that I have in the dataset are:

May you have an idea what this error message is about????

Thx in advance for ur help

Well, one may have nothing to do with the other but I don't believe you should be using Basic auth. Seems like you should be using Windows. I take it you are using SharePoint on-premises? What version? Often, if memory serves, that error can be generated by having some special characters in the folder name or the folder name starting with a numeral.

You could check the Issues forum here:

And if it is not there, then you could post it.
