Enterprise Gateway Databricks

Hi all!

I saw we are now able to create enterprise gateways for Databricks. In the past it was just able to access databricks using spark for gateways, right?

I just created a databricks gateway but when I want to create a new dataflow I am still not able to select databricks connection for dataflows.

Is this enterprise gateway connection for databricks just focused on datasets? Or are there any plans to also create databricks dataflows?

Hi. Enterprise Gateways is a client to install in a VM that will help PowerBi Service connect to a local data source. Databricks is a cloud that has compatibility with datasets. That means that you don't need a gateway to connect with PowerBi Desktop or Power Bi Datasets in Service.
Power Bi Dataflows doesn't have the same connectors than Desktop. You can try copying the power query code from Desktop to Dataflow, but I'm not sure it will work. There might be a reason why the connector is not there.
