Hello,
I have an issue with a blank paginated report that's inserted into a Power BI report.
The Power BI report is in DirectQuery mode with an on-premises SQL database.
The paginated report uses the dataset from my Power BI report as the source of data.
When new records come into the SQL database, they're caught by the Power BI dataset and reflected as new rows in my report table. If I click on a new row, the paginated report (which is a part of the Power BI report) should return an updated report. However, sometimes in 3 out of 5 cases, there's an issue displaying data for the new record. This means that when I click on the new row, the paginated report is completely blank.
Here are some observations:
Does no one have experience with built-in paginated reports based on direct query datasets? 🙄
More details about the problem:
It looks like the new entry is not present on the side of the paginated report.
Paginated report use PowerBi dataset. Dataset itself use SQL table and storage mode: direct query
