Embedding into Sharepoint with Fabric

Hi everyone,

In my company, we have around 300 users who primarily view reports in Power BI. Two people are dedicated to report development and dashboard maintenance. We have a corporate SharePoint where we can embed the reports for users.

We are considering acquiring an F8 or F16 SKU (equivalent to EM1 or EM2) and allowing users to view the reports embedded in the corporate SharePoint without acquiring 300 individual Pro licenses.

Would this be a viable approach? Is there anything specific we should consider when adopting this solution? Any advice or experiences you could share would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance!

Hi,

Incase if your users are going to increase in the coming days you can go with a F64.As per my knowledge it will cost you around 42k USD/per year.If you are worried about the cost you can share the capacity with your internal teams and you can do some cross charge back after reviewing their reports and datasets.

With that number of users, it's going to be way less expensive to just go with pro licenses for all vs premium. If you want to get the most out of it, go for the E5 bundle or similar, that gets you a bunch of security features amongst other things and usually costs about the same as adding pro PBI to whatever you have.
