Embedded 'apply bookmark by state' fails by '/exploration' gives 500 when large semantic model is ON

Hi

When try to apply a created bookmark through embedded 'apply bookmark by state' method for the large semantic model enabled report, bookamark is not applied.

this.pbiReport.bookmarksManager.applyState(resp.state);

/exploration API is failed with 500 and below message.
{
"code": "NullReferenceException",
"message": "Object reference not set to an instance of an object."

Note:  This is working fine when large semantic model is off for the same report..

Hi!

Interesting, we have that problem regardless of the "large semantic model" setting on or off. I guess, there is a bug.

Regards.

Thats interesting @BehrensSCom , Did you received any assistance from Microsoft regarding your issue?

The issue has been fixed by Microsoft as of 1st of December 2023.

Yes, It's been fixed and working fine now. - Thanks

We are currently in the negotiation phase "Are you sure, it is a bug?". I will keep you updated.

The Bookmarks are failing right after these changes are made and we beleive it's a bug (we could able to recreate the issue in PowerBI playground)

And we have made no changes from application side which might cause this issue.

The good news: It is a bug.

The not so good news: Needs time for a fix.

There is currently no fast workaround, but they are working on it.

Will forward this to support. Thank you!
