Hello,
I have one Power BI Report on Power BI Service. With the help of link we embedded the report into our company website. Whenevr I publish new version of the report to same link on the service, it is working fine in service. But same report not reflecting on the website immedeately. Right after publishing to portal, some of the visuals breaking, some visuals are loading from new report some visuals are loading from older version of the report in the website. But it is loading after 30min to few hours and everything is working fine. Why this is happening and does anyone faced similar issue? How does resources work when we have this kind of setup? Does our website server capacity is used or not here?
Solved! Go to Solution.
This is just the way service works. Updates to a report or visual take approximately one hour to be reflected in Publish to web embed codes. After you re-publish PBIX file to Power BI Service, please wait for at least one hour to check the changes in publish to web report.
If you need your updates to be immediately available, you can make a copy of the report with updated information, and then create a new Publish to web embed code for the new report.
Thank you.

Same thing is happening to my PowerBI embeds in PowerPoint. Up until last week, it was instantaneous, now, takes around one hour for any changes to the report to be reflected in the embed. New data comes through instataneously though.
Very inconvenient when at last minute my manager wants a change to to how a visual looks but can't get it flowing through to the live embed immediately.
Yes, our reports are public facing ones. We are getting complaints when we publish the updated report in same link.
