Embedded + PPU licnese

Hi,

We have an embedded license with A2 SKU, as we've embedded our reports and dashboard into the web application, so the clients won't need a license to access them. But, we're facing issues refreshing our dataset due to limited memory (5GB RAM).

Is it possible to maintain the embedded license while refreshing the dataset under a different capacity, such as a PPU license?

Switching from A2 to A3 in the embedded capacity would double the costs (from $2000 to $4000), where I think a PPU license costs only $20 per month per user.

Hi @hoosha_11 

When using power BI embedded, you need to consume the SKU licensing in order to fulfill the licensing requirements. If you had to change it to use PPU, you would no longer be valid terms of licensing for your power BI embedded application.
