Embedded App user slicer selection not saving per user

Using an embedded app within a D365 envionment, users see the default slicer selection that was originally published.

If a user changes the slicer and but refreshes the report the report defaults to the originally published slicer selection.

Within the Dashboard and App within app.powerbi webportal, slicers remember the users previous selections, just not within the embedded report.

How can I make the report remember a user's selection within the Embedded report?

Upon further investigation we are unable to Enable the persistent filters, as we are using an integrated PowerBI panel within Business Central. We do not have control of the typescript and therefore are unable to set "persistentFiltersEnabled: true".

Is it possible for us to have persistent filters with our current setup?

Hi  @Anonymous ,

In reports you embed for your organization, when the persistent filters feature is enabled, reports retain their state, including filters, slicers, and other data view changes. When your user opens a report, the saved user state loads into the report.

For more information, please refer to

Enable persistent filters in a Power BI embedded analytics application | Microsoft Docs
