Embed PowerBI in Sharepoint - Permissions

Hi,

I am attempting to embed a PowerBi dashboard within an internal Sharepoint site. I have a Pro license but if a user goes to the site, they only get a signup screen instead of the dashboard.  I had thought that the PowerBI widget inherits the permissions of the Sharepoint site but can you please let me know if there is another place to configure the view permissions?  Thanks.

Hi @instdes ,

You can do this by going to the Power BI service and selecting the dashboard you want to share. From there, click on the "Share" button and choose the appropriate sharing option. You can choose to share the dashboard with specific individuals or groups, or you can create a sharing link that allows anyone with the link to view the dashboard. Make sure that the sharing settings are set to allow the users in your Sharepoint site to access the dashboard. Additionally, you may want to check the permissions for the Sharepoint site itself to ensure that users have the appropriate access to view the embedded dashboard.

If it does not help, please provide more details.
