Embed Power BI reports on secured web based application

Hi all,

I want to Embed Power BI reports on secured web based application and make the reports visible for alle the user of de web based application without login. Is it possible to do this with the PowerBI pro version or do I need to have de Embedding version? My aim is to provide the PowerBI reports also to people without a PowerBI account.

I have seen this working before (with an PowerBI pro account?).

Kind regards,

Frank

@fhei What you describe should be using an embedded license, otherwise your users won't see the report. The only way you make this work with a single Pro license is by using "Publish to Web" - which is not secure. So if you are ok with the world having access to your data, then you can use Publish to Web. Otherwise, you'll need at least an A1 embedded sku.
