We are creating a Power Page (Portal) for our customers to securely access a Power BI Report. The Power BI report must have RLS enabled to ensure that correct data is filtered. We would like to understand the best way of achieving this. One approach is to invite guest users (external) into Active Directory, and assign a Power BI Pro license to each user. Once this is done, we would look to share the Report on the Power BI service with these guest users so that they are provided access. However, when testing this method and Embedding the report code into the PowerPage as per the link below, the RLS roles set in the Power BI report do not seem to be carried into the Power Page. Does anyone have experience with this please? Thanks in advance

I tested this about six months ago and it worked well. Let's break down the issue into smaller parts by focusing first on the Power BI side. Are you able to successfully test your RLS rules for these AAD B2B guests in the Power BI service? Did you make sure they're only Viewers in the workspace where the report is hosted?
Hi otravers - apologies, I somehow missed this response at the time.
Yes we followed the steps above and managed to successfully implement RLS. Our main challenge now is to avoid double sign in from a user experience perspective. Currently the user needs to sign into the Power Page website using guest user credentials, and then once navigated to the Power BI Dashboard page sign into Power BI for the report to render - is there any way of avoiding this do you know please?
thanks in advance
