Embed Datasets to a team in MS Teams

Hello everybody,

i searched the whole day for a solution to this issue and was unable to find any. I hope the community is able to help! 😉 

Iam new to PowerBI but already had some some success. I try to keep it short:

Last week i made three reports via direct query where you are able to see:

- which employees are currently at work

- which employees are'nt currently at work

- which employees are on holiday, sick, etc. 

... not important anyhow. But everything worked out fine and i have a "live" connection to the SQL Server of the company and posted the report in MS Teams so everyone is able to look up the report. 

 

The last days i startet a report which goal it is, that every employee can see his giliding time and holiday balance. Everyone only sees his Data and NOT any data from the other employees. Following some tutorials i created a USERNAME() Role in PowerBI Desktop with the link to a selfmade table with the micorosoft accounts of all employees. 

Afterwards i linked certain test users to the role in PowerBI Service. 

Now, when i share the report/dataset to a user or a MS Teams group, a link pops up in the certain channel or in the messages of the user. When you click on the link, you are able to see the report. Everything works fine as planned and everyone only sees his data. 

So now i wanted to embed the Dataset to the team like the other three last week. But now, when i try to add it, iam unable to save. Aditionally iam now also unable to post the old reports from last week. Iam logged in with the PowerBI Account i created the reports with, can see all my workspaces and reports. But somehow, this isn't possible...

Iam sure that i have forgotten something. Is anyone able to help me? I would appreciate it!

After one week of not working, i was able to add my new report finally via my private PC.

1 minute later, when i was trying to add a second one, it's not working again!

Anyone got a solution? This can't be normal!

You mean you couldn’t see the new content and even couldn’t see the old content?

I could see the old reports, but couldn't post them a second time e.g.. So iam unable to post any report.

P.S.: It worked the last 3 days. But yesterday i tried to make a post and there was the same again... I did nothing.
