I have a report that has three separate email subscriptions associated with it that go out daily. These have been functioning normally for over a year now. Sometime last week, one of the email subscriptions suddenly turned itself off. When I went to the subscriptions and tried to turn that subscription back on, the "save" button that I needed to use stayed greyed out. I have no ability to save any changes to subscriptions -- including adding a new subscription. This "Save" button does not appear to work at all, either for these existing subscriptions or if I create a new subscription for the report. This is in the regular "subscription" menu that appears when accessing from within the report itself. This is what that looks like (note unsaved changes but greyed out Save button):
Digging around, I did access the subscription menu from the App structure, which DID allow me to save, but here the ability to confer permission to the report was greyed out here (a feature I used in the subscription menu accessed from the report). I do not want to direct people to the App, but rather to the individual stand alone report, so I'm hesitiant to use this method.
This is a Premium workspace and the report has no security in place. I can also still manually send the subscription by hitting "send now", but I can't change/turn on/create automated subscriptions. Any idea whats going on here?
Hi @abayless ,
On my end, it shows that it can be created normally, and the version of service I'm currently using is:13.0.22859.36 ,see if it's a version issue.
If you are able to access the subscription menu from the App structure, but not from the report itself, it is possible that there is an issue with the report. You may want to try creating a new report and see if you are able to save changes to the subscriptions in that report. If you are able to save changes to the subscriptions in the new report, then the issue may be with the original report.

Xianda Tang
