Email Notification of Dashboard

Hi All,

 

At the time of sharing a Dashboard,  we have an option to send an email notification to all the recipients.

 

Just like that, is there any option to set the email Notification frequency, from Power BI Dashboard, so that all the recipients will get the notification email on scheduled intervals like monthly once etc.,

    Sriman What do you want to notify your users about on monthly basis ? I don't think it is possible to keep on sending notification emails to users until they click on the link and access dashboard if that is what you're after.

      I havent been able to find a solution to this either.  Some of my VP's would like to know when the dashboard has been updated so they can log in and view updated data.

       

      Anyone find a solution yet?

        I think email notifications are on the roadmap in terms of updates, but a temporary solution would be to just reshare the dashboard/report everytime an update is made. Might be a pain if you have a long list of recipients and in that scenario a workaround would be to create a distribution list or some type of group in Active Directory composed of your recipients.

         

        That or just have a list of email addresses that you can copy and paste.
