Edits in Dynamics 365 CRM views do not refresh in Power BI Service reports

Hello everyone,

I created some views in Dynamics 365. After that, I used the option "Visualize this View" in Power BI Service. While I can work normally with my data, I noticed the following: when I make some changes in the view (e.g. adding a new column) and choose the refresh option in Power BI, the dataset does not actually refresh. If I do not make any changes in the view (add columns, filter) and leave it as it is, the data do refresh though (new rows are added). Is this how views from dynamics 365 should work? The software only refreshes the actual rows but does not refresh any new columns, filters etc.? Any info wold be really helpful, thank you!

Hi  @Anonymous ,

According to my research and guess, your side of the data source updated fields, but the view side did not edit, go to add these corresponding to the updated fields, and then choose to display these fields, which led to these newly appeared fields did not show up in Dynamics 365 CRM view, you can refer to these two documents:

Configure columns in a view in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (on-premises) | Microsoft Learn

Customize views (Dynamics 365 Sales Professional) | Microsoft Learn
