Editing existing reports with Build permissions
- 1 year ago
Hi! As long as you do not have the person(s) in question in your workspace as contributor, member or admin, they will not be able to edit any of your reports or semantic models. They can only utilize your model to create their own report. I suggest sharing reports via the app. Only give your collaborators access in the workspace. Anyone who wants to view reports can do so once you push them to the app and you can grant build access this way as well, or directly on the semantic model. Then, give the ppl with build access their own workspace where they can publish their ad-hoc reports if you want.

Perfect, the report access is provided through an app, and they are not assigned any workspace role. Should be all good then, thank you so much for the detailed answer!
