Dear Community members,
I have a desktop PowerBI file that is connected to OData source in Dev environment. Initially before publishing i just edit the OData API key (with Prod key) through Power Query editor (Advanced Editor). Post this PowerBI refreshes the data and i push it to the PowerBI service.
But now the Prod data set has grown, hence when i do the same activity the refresh fails in desktop.
Can you please let me know if i can push the Dev version of PowerBI to PowerBI service and change the OData API key with that of production directly on PowerBI service? My OData query looks like this - https://<URL>?apikey=<APIKEY>
Thanks in advance

Hi @sateshkumar
Yes you can do that but for that you will have to make that url as a parameter/variable in your report which can be directly updated in the report.
Or you can make that variable/parameter as a list of values which can be selected directly without updating the report locally.
