Editing Data Model in a Live App
I am stuck and could use some help... - I created a workspace with a set of reports and a data model. We shall call this DEV. - I deployed these to an app and it worked. That workspace is called ...
There was no way for me to download the data model from the APP workspace, so I gave up and rebuilt the app as a new instance. Thanks anyway
Download the PBIX from the "APP" workspace (weird naming, btw). Open in Power BI Desktop. Change the data sources as needed. Upload into the DEV workspace.
Yeah they're not really called that, just for explanation 😀.
Issue is the download option is greyed out for the model in the APP workspace. So can't download it.
Which of these limitations are you hitting?
