When opening the "Edit Workspace" option from the Workspaces listing in the Power BI service, the "Save" and "Cancel" buttons appear grayed out / disabled. I am no longer able to add members or delete existing members. This appears to be a recent bug introduced to the service (past few days?)
Solved! Go to Solution.
I was (and still am) and Admin. I went in this morning and the buttons now work again. This was definitely a change in the Power BI Service, but it now appears to be resolved.
Hi @shietpas,
You only see Edit workspace if you’re an app workspace admin. For more details, please check the online document.

Workspaces are part of the Office 365 groups and inherit the permisisons from there. You need to be an ADMIN of the group to make the changes you have described. Have you checked if any permissions have been changed recently?
I have encountered the same problem as OP.
We're the creators / owners of the App workspace, so theoratically, since we can 'edit workspace' per say, why are we unable to commit that change now?
I did not encounter this issue previously, and it only occured during the last few days?
Edit: I believe it's the preview introduction of the new app workspace implemented on August 24 that caused this problem.
Appreciate if admins can respond to this asap as we're serving clients and the unknown behavior of the app is raising alot of questions from clients which we cant provide an answer to at this point in time ..
I have the same issue.
