ESRI rendering on a dashboard using the UWP app

The ESRI control pinned directly or via a live page pin does not render in a dashboard (blank rectangle, outline only) when displayed using the UWP app on a Surface Hub, Surface Book and a Windows Phone. The ESRI map and data render fine in the report itself, although sometimes I need to select a filter for it to initally render the data on the top of the displayed map. Is this a know issue?
