Dynamics 365 refresh

I have a few reports with Dynamics 365 as the data source (ODATA). However, I can't get them to refresh automatically, I am having to manually do it. I am reading where I don't need a gateway because it's in the cloud, while it says on the schedule refresh screen to set up a gateway.   I tried to connecting to on-prem gateway but our on-prem gateway I get an issue with credentials, not sure if it's because credentials on gateway admin are different than the credentials on odata connection, I tried my own too. Same message. I can't even see how to update personal gateway. when I click on manage gateways, it goes to our on-prem gateway settings. We just moved to premium if there is anything new there I can use. At a loss.

Hi electrobrit,

You don't need to manually refresh data from dynamic 365 because all data will be refreshed once a day automatically. In addtion, you can't configure a gateway for online service like dynamic 365. 

To set schedule refresh of dynamic 365, you can refer to documantation of dynamic 365:

thanks for your feedback. If I have a couple of data sources besides Dynamics, like OneDrive. These are just dim tables and don't change. Could these be what's stopping the refresh?
