Dynamics 365 Security Roles in PowerBI
Hi, I am trying to understand how data access (viewing rights) on PowerBI Dashboards, published in Dynamics 365, are handled. Data Access in Dynamics is limited to the security role a user has. So...
Thanks Cherie Chen, in other words the security roles from Dynamics will not be applied to PowerBI. I need to define seperate roles in BI and assign them to Dynamic users? Does that also mean I have to define a seperate security role via RLS for each sales person in a group, so that they can only see their own data? That seems a bit cumbersome.
