Dynamic rls with power automate
Hi guys,
I have a report in the workspace in which I have applied dynamic rls over emails of dealers. The requirement is that I want to send the pdf file over email to all the respective dealers showing only the data which is required of them and not show all the data.
I searched on the internet about it and there is not much information out there.
How will i do this?
It will be really helpful if u guys kindly attach screenshots with your answers.
Thank you
Hi sathish_kumar1 ,
For report email subscriptions, if the dataset uses RLS, you can create a subscription for yourself. You can't subscribe others to a report with row-level security (RLS) applied, except for paginated reports. You can subscribe others to a paginated report, using your security context.
When you try subscribing using paged reports, unlike subscriptions for dashboards or Power BI reports, your subscription contains an attachment of the entire report output and it also supports the following attachment types, such as PDF, PPTX, etc. Even if the dataset uses row-level security (RLS), you still can create subscriptions for yourself and others. Those subscriptions will run using your security context.
