I have a question about dynamic row level security. I want employees to only be able to see their own results.
I created a role in Power BI Desktop called "Agent" with a rule/filter [Agent] = USERPRINCIPALNAME() .
Currently i have to add each agent to the "Agent" role in the power bi Service.
The problem I am trying to solve for, with this specific report only, I simply want the rule to apply automatically without having to add the user into the role in the security tab in power BI Service.

Hi @BenBrubacher ,
You can use Dynamic Row Level Security for individuals or groups. But the best suggestion is to add users to the security group, because report developer will only have to implement DRLS Once.
For details, please refer to related links:
Can you use GROUPS with Power BI Row-Level Security (RLS)??? - YouTube

If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information and let me know immediately. Looking forward to your reply.

Henry
