Dynamic Row Level Security with Live Connected Power BI dataset model
I have a Power BI dataset model (~3GB size) from which multiple reports are built.
Now I want to create a report from this model with dynamic row level security applied. I don't want to apply RLS on my original power bi dataset.
I tried doing this with converting Live connection to composite model in report but this is not functioning.
I brought in the RLS table and connected it with my dimension table and I can't even see "Apply Security" option in Relationships.

Hi. I'm pretty sure the best practice would be applying the RLS to the original dataset. It make sense and keep performance for sure. I have been checking this topic and reading old posts and thinking it shouldn't be able to do that. However I have found this one that might be helpful:
