Dynamic Parameterization in Power BI

We  are working on parameterizing the connections, currently what we did is created parameters in report to pass database connections. But as we have 18 different datasets/reports, we have to create parameters in each dataset/report. So, we are planning to create one global parameter so that if we can change connection at one place, it will reflect in all the 18 datasets/reports. 

In addition to that, we are expecting report/dataset deployment between multiple environment (Dev/Test/Prod). If we create a global parameter, it will give us flexibility to change between environments. so that we can point our dataset/reports to any environment we want.
