Drill through in Power BI App

Hi all,

I've developed two reports with the cross-report drill-through feature.

I published those reports in a Premium Workspace, and when I open the first report the drill-through is working fine.

When I create an app with those two reports, the drill-through feature isn't working anymore.

Do you know if there's some kind of limitations in the Power BI App? I didn't find anything on the official documentation and on the web generally.

Thanks in advance,

Leonardo

Hi @leon_zottin

Based on your description and screenshots, I conducted a test. I speculate that you can drill across reports in the workspace, but you cannot drill after uploading the report to the app because the report you want to drill is not in the same app.

According to your screenshot, there is only the source report in your app and no drill target report. You need to put the source report and the target report together into the app.

Thanks, I fixed in this way: in the previous version of the app, the "slave" report was in the app but hidden in the audience.

I make it visible and the drill-through is working now! 🙂
