Hi,
I've noticed something weird when drilling down in graphs in the service. I don't know if this is a bug, or if it's some behaviour that I don't understand.
When I drill down, either right-clicking or with activated drill down button, it works fine going through the hierarchy. And if I on some level use the "Go to the next level in the hierarchy" button, it works as expected as well. However, when I go back up one level after I used the next level button, and the uses the drill down functionality to go down again, I get the same data/visualisation as when I used the "next level".
In order words, I'm not shown the data for that particular selection I wanted to drill down to, instead I get the whole level.
When I drill up to the first level, and the start to drill down again, it works as it should again. That is, I can drill down into specific selections again.
I've noticed this today, and I've been able to reproduce this in another report and dataset as well.
Do anyone knows whats going on? Thanks!
Hi, I am also facing similar type of issue. In desktop application drill down buttons are visible. Below is the screengrab.
Here I have given below values which are present in different tables.
Now when I publish it to service this buttons are getting disappeared. As a solution of it, I tried to edit report in service, removed visualization and added back and saved. This way it retained the drill down bar. Else switching on drill down from explorer and clicking on bars. Apart from it right click on bar to drill up or down. But my client needs this drill down row.
Now when my reports are getting refreshed via gateway again all the buttons are disappearing which is frustating. Do you have any idea why is this getting disappeared?
Thanks, Nayan Rathi
Hi @krickeandersson,
The problem has been reported internally: CRI 85493587. Will update here once I get any information.

Hi @v-danhe-msft, is there any progress on this? It's still an issue on my side and really affecting the perception of our reporting system. We just rolled out and now people are having so much trouble.
@krickeandersson are you also still experiencing this problem?
Hi @Philip0123,
Yes, I'm still experiencing the issue as well. Let's hope that a solution is on its way, because even though it's not the biggest issue for us, it causes some confusion among the users.
I'm experiencing the same issue and have been tearing my hair out looking at my reports or trying different ways of drilling down. Glad to see it's not just me.
Hope someone can help us out soon!
