Downloading Report with Dataset included?

Hi,

We have a PowerBI Dataset and multiple Reports in our workspace. The reports have a live connection to the Dataset. This allows us to make a single change in the dataset that will then be accessible on every report we have.

My issue is that the reports are only 7MB, as it is a live connection to the Dataset, which is 170MB. We have always been able to "merge" any report with the dataset. In short, you can download any report, but it actually includes the 170MB dataset. This allows us to refresh it outside of the workspace and delete any unused columns to save load times.

To achieve this, you have to open a Report in the workspace. From here, you simply save a copy. You then download the copied version. When this downloads, it combines the Report and the Dataset. 

However, for the past week, this appears to no longer work. I am unsure if it was intended in the first place, or if anyone knows you could actually do this. Does anyone know if there is another way to do this, or perhaps if there has been a change to stop you from doing my method.
