Download the Power BI Service to Excel

When we are download the Power BI Service to Excel 150000 records data only. If we above 150000 records data for download what is option. Please help me on that.

Hi @Usmanbasha1 ,

 

This is a limitation of the tool.  Although, if you use LiveConnection export with Summarized data you can get to 500,000 rows.

That said, if you add slicers to the report that cut your data below 150,000 per slicer, then you can use that and make multiple exports and then put them back together in Excel.  But, Excel has a limit of 1 million rows.

The real question to me is from the business side - what is happening in Excel that is not happening in Power BI that there is a need to export?  Maybe you can resolve that by adding something to the report in Power BI that lets the users do what they need without exporting.
